Elaine Sheppard-Lee | B.A., RMT
Lauren Hines, RMT
earned a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree with honours. In April of 2021, Lauren graduated from the Accelerated Massage Therapy program at Ontario College of Health and Technology. At Brock University, Lauren was a varsity athlete being part of the track and field and golf team. Health and fitness have always been a major part of Lauren’s life, understanding the importance of keeping bodies strong and healthy. Lauren’s passion for health and fitness is evident even outside of work as she enjoys spending her time playing sports, attending fitness classes, and expanding her knowledge about the human body.
Lauren’s experience and expertise allow her to treat many different conditions and injuries, integrating a variety of techniques into her treatments tailored to client’s specific needs and concerns. A few techniques she performs are; deep tissue massage, Swedish massage techniques, trigger point therapy, IASTM (instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization), professional cupping, and many more. She has also earned specific certificates in TMJ dysfunction/treatment, sports massage, muscle energy treatment, and kinesiology taping.
Lauren strongly believes that client education and medical exercise enhance client treatment goals, increase recovery time, and helps her clients function pain-free. Lauren is passionate about her work and can’t wait to apply her knowledge and skills through the manipulation of soft tissue to help her clients with whatever their concerns may be and achieve their treatment goals.
Ashley VanGeest, RMT
Research and evidence based Massage Therapy is her passion. Client education is also very important to her, knowing that knowledge is the best way to create change in one’s body. This includes education on proper biomechanics and remedial exercise in order to keep your body functioning at its optimal level. Through the manipulation of soft tissue she hopes to help others feel their best from the inside out.
Ashley has a specific interest in pre peri and post natal massage. She would love to walk with you during your gestational period in order to help maintain overall health and wellness throughout that time; as well as offer any insight she can in order to make that time of life more comfortable. Providing quality care, while meeting client goals is what Ashley is actively pursuing.
Ruth Draaistra | Registered Massage Therapist
In 2022, Ruth graduated from the Massage Therapy program at Mohawk College. Prior, she graduated the OTA/PTA program in 2017 and implemented various physiotherapy treatment plans. Ruth also has had the opportunity these last few years to work as a support person for individuals with special needs.
Ruth enjoys playing indoor soccer, biking, hiking, and traveling. She looks forward to helping you reach your goals so you too can do the things that you enjoy most!

Emily Lerner | Registered Massage Therapist
With this passion she went on to study at Fanshawe college receiving a diploma in Fitness and Health in 2016. After working with the public for many years as a personal trainer, she went on to expand her knowledge and help others in a different way. She studied at Mohawk College, receiving a diploma in Massage Therapy in 2023. Emily is passionate about studying and educating herself to better help the health and wellness of others.
Emily’s goal as a therapist is to assess and understand her patients needs and goals by using a collaborative care approach and building trust to ensure comfort and results. She uses techniques such as Deep Tissue massage, Swedish massage, myofascial release, PNF, trigger point work, cupping and rehabilitation therapy.
